Crossrail: Whitechapel and Liverpool Street Stations
Equib was engaged by BBMV joint venture, to provide ongoing risk management services to the project including regular facilitation, identification and management of risk throughout the design and construction phases.
Project:
The project is a key element of the Crossrail programme, and comprises the construction of sprayed concrete lining (SCL) tunnels including construction shafts and adits, platform tunnels, tunnel boring machine (TBM) chambers, cross passages, escalator barrels and ventilation ducts.
In addition, the team is constructing a link passageway from the new Liverpool Street station to the London Underground Northern Line Moorgate station platform, and a single-leg crossover at the west end of Whitechapel station.
The project is being delivered by BBMV, which is a joint venture compromising Balfour Beatty, BeMo Tunnelling, Morgan Sindall and VINCI Construction.
